Job Summary:

Kayens Tech is seeking a Purchase Manager (Electronics) to manage the procurement of electronic components, develop supplier relationships, and optimize costs. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, cost control, and inventory management to support manufacturing and R&D operations.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for electronic components.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and long-term contracts with vendors.
• Ensure a steady supply of materials for production and new product development.

✅ Vendor & Supplier Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and global suppliers.
• Conduct supplier audits, performance evaluation, and risk assessment.
• Work on supplier development initiatives to ensure quality and reliability.

✅ Cost Control & Compliance

• Implement cost-saving measures while maintaining quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
• Work closely with the finance team to optimize procurement budgets.

✅ Inventory & Logistics Management

• Optimize stock levels to balance demand and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure on-time delivery.
• Implement ERP/SAP-based procurement systems for better tracking and efficiency.

✅ Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with engineering, R&D, and production teams for component compatibility.
• Support supply chain planning and new product development sourcing.

Key Requirements:

🔹 5-12 years of experience in electronics component procurement in automotive, consumer electronics, or manufacturing industries.
🔹 Strong knowledge of supply chain management, vendor negotiations, and cost control.
🔹 Hands-on experience with SAP, ERP systems, and procurement analytics tools.
🔹 Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
🔹 Experience in dealing with global suppliers and import/export regulations is a plus.
