As we scale our R&D and product portfolios, we are looking for a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology strategy and engineering leadership.

Role Overview

As CTO, you will drive the end-to-end technology roadmap for Brenstone’s advanced automotive electronics and EV product lines. This includes leading the development and integration of ADAS systems, electric motors, motor controllers, power electronics, battery management systems (BMS), and related vehicle electronic subsystems.

You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure technical excellence, product innovation, and alignment with future automotive trends including electrification, autonomy, and software-defined vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Strategy & Roadmap

Define and execute the long-term technology vision aligned with company goals in EV, ADAS, and vehicle electronics.

Identify emerging trends in electrification and autonomous technologies and align internal R&D capabilities accordingly.

Product Development Leadership

Lead engineering and R&D teams focused on the design, development, and validation of:

Electric motors and drive systems

Motor controllers and inverters

Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)

ECUs, sensors, and power management electronics

Oversee end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to SOP (Start of Production).

Innovation & IP Generation

Drive innovation initiatives and foster a culture of technical excellence and IP creation.

Guide architecture, design reviews, and technology evaluations.

Team Leadership & Talent Development

Build, mentor, and scale high-performing multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Collaborate across global and cross-functional teams including hardware, software, mechanical, and systems.

External Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement

Manage technical relationships with OEMs, Tier 1/2 suppliers, academia, and strategic partners.

Represent Brenstone in industry forums, conferences, and tech alliances.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education: B.Tech/M.Tech/PhD in Electronics, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering

Experience:

20+ years in automotive product development, with at least 10 years in leadership roles

Proven track record in developing EV components such as motors, inverters, controllers, and ADAS systems

Deep knowledge of functional safety (ISO 26262), ASPICE, and automotive-grade quality processes

Experience in working with global OEMs and scaling products from prototype to mass production

Key Skills:

EV powertrain systems (motors, controllers, BMS)

ADAS architecture and integration

Embedded systems & automotive software

Strong understanding of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)

Strategic thinking, team building, and cross-functional leadership
