Job Title: SCM Head – Electronics Manufacturing

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly competent SCM Head to lead and manage the Supply Chain Management (SCM) operations, ensuring smooth functioning of PPC, Warehousing, Store Management, Import/Export, Inventory, and Procurement. The ideal candidate should have SAP expertise, strong commercial acumen, and import-export knowledge within the electronics manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supply Chain & Logistics Management
- Develop and execute end-to-end supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and cost.
- Ensure seamless coordination of procurement, production planning, and inventory management.
- Oversee domestic and international logistics, including vendor management and freight optimization.
- Ensure on-time material availability for production with effective supplier coordination.
2. Warehouse & Inventory Control
- Implement best-in-class warehouse operations for material flow efficiency.
- Maintain 99.9% inventory accuracy with advanced tracking mechanisms.
- Introduce lean practices (Kanban, JIT, VSM, Supermarket Concept) to optimize stock levels.
- Manage FIFO, cycle counting, and perpetual inventory management.
3. Procurement & Vendor Development
- Develop and manage local & global supplier relationships for cost-effective procurement.
- Handle supplier negotiations, contract management, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Ensure supplier compliance with quality and delivery standards.
4. Import & Export Compliance
- Ensure smooth handling of import/export operations, customs clearance, and documentation.
- Maintain compliance with EXIM policies, DGFT, and GST regulations.
- Negotiate and optimize freight costs with forwarders and CHA.
5. SAP & Digital Transformation
- Lead SAP implementation and optimization (MM, WM, SD, PP modules).
- Drive automation and digitalization in SCM processes for efficiency improvements.
6. Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead a team of SCM professionals across PPC, Warehousing, Procurement, and Logistics.
- Drive KPI-based performance management and ensure team alignment with business objectives.
- Develop a culture of continuous improvement and cost optimization.
