Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Production & Manufacturing Manager to oversee the production process in our textile/garment manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, optimizing costs, and ensuring timely delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Production Planning & Execution:

Develop and implement production plans to meet order requirements.

Coordinate with various departments (design, sourcing, and logistics) to ensure smooth production flow.

Ensure timely execution of manufacturing processes while maintaining high efficiency.

✅ Quality Control & Compliance:

Monitor product quality at different stages to meet industry and customer standards.

Ensure adherence to compliance regulations (ISO, OSHA, environmental standards, etc.).

Address quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.

✅ Process Optimization & Cost Management:

Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce wastage.

Manage production costs and budgets while optimizing raw material usage.

Implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques for continuous improvement.

✅ Team Leadership & Workforce Management:

Supervise and train production staff, including machine operators, quality inspectors, and supervisors.

Ensure workplace safety by enforcing health and safety regulations.

Resolve production-related conflicts and ensure a productive work environment.

✅ Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination:

Monitor raw material inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team.

Work closely with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure smooth material flow.

Reduce lead times by improving production planning and material sourcing.

Key Skills & Competencies:

✔ Strong knowledge of textile/garment manufacturing processes
✔ Expertise in production planning, workflow optimization, and quality assurance
✔ Familiarity with industrial sewing machines, fabric processing, and finishing techniques
✔ Experience with ERP systems and production management software
✔ Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
✔ Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma is a plus

Experience in knitwear, woven, denim, or home textiles is desirable

Knowledge of compliance and sustainability standards in the textile industry
