Role Summary:
As a Manufacturing Engineer at Marzoli, you will lead the development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and cost-efficiency. You will play a key role in driving operational excellence, supporting product design transitions into manufacturing, and introducing lean manufacturing initiatives. This role demands hands-on experience in heavy engineering or capital equipment manufacturing environments, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of precision machining, assembly processes, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
- Ensure the efficient setup of production lines, workstations, tools, and jigs.
- Collaborate with R&D, design, and production teams to transition new designs into manufacturing.
- Implement lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S principles to improve process efficiency and reduce waste.
- Conduct time studies, workflow analysis, and capacity planning to support production goals.
- Analyze process performance data and implement corrective actions to improve product quality and reduce defects.
- Drive the adoption of automation and modern manufacturing techniques wherever applicable.
- Support cost estimation and feasibility analysis for new projects.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts on production floor issues related to process, tooling, or quality.
- Maintain and update documentation related to process flows, work instructions, and control plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, ISO/quality management systems, and internal standards.
Candidate Profile:
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering.
- Experience: 15+ years in manufacturing engineering, preferably in textile machinery, capital goods, or precision engineering.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of machining, fabrication, assembly, and inspection techniques.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP).
- Deep understanding of lean manufacturing and quality management systems (ISO, TS, etc.).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Team leadership and project management skills.
