Job Responsibilities: Quality Management & Systems - Lead and manage the entire Quality function (QA/QC, Lab, Inspection, NDT, Testing).
- Ensure adherence to ISO/TS/IATF/other relevant standards and customer-specific requirements.
- Establish, implement, and monitor quality control plans for various foundry processes (melting, molding, core making, fettling, machining).
- Maintain and continually improve QMS documentation and audit compliance.
· Process & Product Quality - Monitor metallurgical parameters, molding quality, and casting inspection.
- Analyze process deviations and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Drive initiatives to reduce internal rejections, scrap, and rework.
- Ensure incoming, in-process, and final inspection standards are met.
· Customer Interaction & Satisfaction - Liaison with OEMs/customers for quality approvals, audits, and complaint resolution.
- Lead customer complaint analysis (8D/Root Cause Analysis) and ensure timely closures.
- Conduct regular reviews with customers on quality performance and improvements.
People Management & Leadership - Lead and mentor the quality team (engineers, inspectors, lab technicians).
- Build quality awareness across departments through training and Kaizen programs.
- Foster a culture of zero defect and continuous improvement.
· Strategic & Continuous Improvement - Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and TQM methodologies to enhance process capability.
- Support new product development (PPAP, APQP, FMEA).
- Ensure quality cost optimization without compromising standards.
