Head Quality

Role: Head- Quality (DGM/GM Level)

Location: Mumbai (Corporate Office)
Reports to: CEO
Experience Required: ~20 years (Automotive Industry preferred)
Qualification: BE – Mechanical / Production

Job Purpose:

• Lead and manage the Quality Assurance function across all plants.
• Develop, implement, and ensure adherence to Quality Systems (IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and quality excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee Corporate Quality Management System compliance across sites.
• Provide strategic direction on quality objectives and KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean & Six Sigma methodologies.
• Lead internal/external audits and manage non-conformities.
• Handle customer complaints, CAPA, and supplier quality improvements.
• Conduct root cause analysis, risk assessments, and corrective actions.
• Prepare & present quality performance reports to senior management.
• Build capability through training and foster quality awareness across teams.

Required Skills & Expertise:

• Strong knowledge of Quality Systems in the automotive industry.
• Hands-on with AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
• Proven track record in implementing IATF 16949.
• Leadership experience with ability to influence and build cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
