Head of ADAS

We are seeking a senior, entrepreneurial technology leader to head our ASAD (Advanced Systems / ADAS) function. This role is critical to building next-generation ADAS and autonomous driving products from scratch, covering Level 3 and Level 4 autonomy. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise, strong product ownership, and techno-commercial leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Define and own the technology and product roadmap for ADAS / Autonomous systems (L3 & L4)

Lead end-to-end product development from concept, system architecture, prototyping, validation, to SOP

Drive development across:

AI/ML algorithms (perception, computer vision, sensor fusion, prediction, decision-making)

Embedded systems (ECUs, real-time systems, AUTOSAR, automotive-grade software)

Radar systems (signal processing, object detection, tracking, and perception)

Build, mentor, and scale high-performance engineering teams

Work closely with Automotive OEMs and Tier-1 customers to understand requirements and co-develop solutions

Act as a Techno-Commercial driver — supporting business development, RFQs, customer pitches, and technical–commercial negotiations

Establish strategic partnerships with technology providers, ecosystem players, and research institutions

Ensure compliance with automotive standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE, Functional Safety, Cybersecurity, etc.)

Drive innovation, IP creation, and long-term platform strategy

Required Skills & Experience

20+ years of experience in automotive product development, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role

Strong hands-on experience in:

AI/ML (deep learning, computer vision, perception stacks)

Embedded systems (C/C++, RTOS, AUTOSAR, ECU software)

Radar systems (automotive radar, signal processing, perception algorithms)

Proven exposure to ADAS / Autonomous Driving systems (L3 & L4)

Demonstrated ability to build products from scratch in startup, scale-up, or innovation-led environments

Strong network and relationships within Automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers

Ability to translate technology into commercial value

Experience managing large, cross-functional and distributed teams
