Brenstone has been retained by a leading automotive group in India to hire a visionary and results-driven Chief Executive Officer. With a turnover exceeding $1 Billion USD, the group is one of the largest and most respected Tier 1 automotive suppliers in the country. The company operates multiple manufacturing plants across India and supplies critical components to every major OEM in the country, with a growing global footprint.
The CEO will be responsible for leading the organization into its next phase of growth, innovation, and operational excellence. This individual will provide strategic leadership, foster a performance-driven culture, and ensure sustainable value creation for stakeholders while navigating the dynamic global automotive ecosystem.
Define and implement the long-term strategic vision and goals in alignment with the Board’s direction.
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and diversification strategies (EV, exports, digital transformation, etc.).
Lead organizational transformation initiatives across product lines, geographies, and operations.
Drive excellence across manufacturing operations, ensuring world-class quality, safety, and productivity.
Oversee supply chain, procurement, and vendor relationships to ensure cost efficiency and resilience.
Ensure timely delivery and adherence to all customer commitments and quality standards.
Own the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow management across the group.
Lead budgeting, financial planning, and risk mitigation efforts.
Ensure efficient capital allocation, investments, and returns across business units.
Maintain and strengthen strategic relationships with all major OEMs in India and globally.
Represent the organization in key industry forums, government bodies, and strategic alliances.
Monitor market trends and competition to ensure the company remains at the forefront of innovation.
Build and nurture a high-performance leadership team.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
Lead succession planning and talent development across the organization.
Engineering graduate (preferably Mechanical/Automobile/Production).
MBA or equivalent qualification from a reputed institute is highly desirable.
25+ years of experience in the automotive manufacturing industry, with at least 5–7 years in CXO-level leadership roles.
Proven track record of running multi-plant operations and large-scale businesses (preferably $500M+ turnover).
Deep relationships with Indian and global OEMs.
Exposure to global markets, exports, and EV ecosystem will be an added advantage.
Strategic thinking with strong business and financial acumen.
Inspirational leadership with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Change agent with a track record of transformation and digital adoption.
Deep understanding of manufacturing excellence, quality systems (IATF 16949, Six Sigma, etc.), and lean practices.
